¨ Who needs an ignition interlock in Nebraska?

¨ What paperwork do I need?

We will need a copy of your court order. We will provide you with a Certificate of Approved Install at your installation which you will take to the DMV to attain your driver’s license.

¨ After I take a test, how long do I have to wait to start my car?

¨ Will spicy foods, car exhaust or cigarette smoke give me violations?

While it depends on the make and model of the vehicle, our highly trained technicians can generally install the device in less than an hour. You will want to be present for the installation though, after the device is installed our technician will sit down with you to make sure that you are completely comfortable with the device before sending you on your way.

¨ Will the ignition interlock unit damage my vehicle’s wiring system?

Absolutely not. Rest assured that the installation and operation of the device will not harm your vehicle. Our technicians are factory trained and certified. Most are also ASE certified mechanics.

¨ What do I do if I have a problem with my interlock device on a night or weekend?
